The Legislative Branch (Senate)

The Legislative Branch consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate, which together form the United States Congress. The House has many powers including the power to impeach federal officals and elect the president in case of an electoral collage tie. Being a Senate would be the job I would like to have if i had to work in the Legislative branch. Voters elect 2 senators from each state, regardless of population size. Senates are elected every 6 years. They make elections staggered so that both senators from their state are not elected at the same time. A  senates job is to vote and/or write on new law “bills”. A senate represents their state and the population in the state. Being a senator would be what I would want to be if I worked in the Legislative Branch.
